Many SGI members don't find value in the teachings of the founder, Nichiren. They embrace the pluralistic teachings of Ikedaism. Similarly, many Nichiren Shu follow the pluralistic teachings if Nissatsu and Nichiki and have no affinity for the forceful practices of Nichiren. We, on the other hand, refuse to see the teachings of Nichiren abandoned, forgotten, and ultimately destroyed by making it into something it isn't
