Musawi Mustafa stated: Good day. I have a question about Karma. When we help people, are we interfering with God, the universe,....in delivering Karma! And / or; are we being used to deliver Karma!! For example; we are minding our on business, driving down the road and hit a person. We and the other person will suffer. It's like a circle that keeps reoccurring..... If you know what I mean. I am just curious.... Thank you.

📷Stephen Paine Just a quick answer: First your understanding regarding karma is a Brahmanic one, not Buddhistic. You have the belief in a creator like Hinduism. As you may know Hinduism holds a different view than Buddhism regarding karma.. So I will respectfully if you like to listen teach what the Buddha taught that now we have proof is in exact accordance with quantum physics and the true nature of the reality in which we live, and how it really functions. Many have said the Buddha was a great scientist, and wow, was that an understatement. If one understands the Buddhist sutras the Buddha left a hidden teaching called the Law Flower Sutra (Saddharmapundarika-sutra); which is the Buddha's life-span 16th chapter he reveals his life is eternal as is our lives if we can just awaken to this reality. The Buddha stated when one asked, "What is Enlightenment?" The Buddha stated, "I see the world as it really is." Thus, his life-span chapter is the most famous and respected chapter of the Buddhas teaching among many Mahayanist. Why? Because as many great ancient works by great masters like master T’ien-t’ai 天台] (538–597) (Tiantai; Tendai): Also known as Chih-i; and Dengyō Daishi (伝教大師-最澄, September 15, 767 – June 26, 822), and Nichiren Shonin (1222-1282) tells us that this chapter 16 was the heart and core of the Buddha's teachings because it explained that life and environment are one i.e. the profound principle core teaching of chapter 16 Ichinen Sanzen three thousand worlds in a momentary existence. This mean everything is one thing. So now science has proven cause and effect is real and Karma can be scientifically weighed and seen in our auras. Science now states that every moment a photograph of each life moment which is being stored within our aura. That is consistent with Buddhist doctrine that explains that everything our thoughts, deeds, and actions are stored in our karmic storehouse (Alaya Consciousness). Thus, when we as Buddhist learn to walk the Karmas as Buddha said he did mastering our thoughts, deeds, and actions we build a beautiful karma. Science now tells us that by being grounded in knowing that life and environment are one, and mind and body are one is when a tremendous amount of growth transpires within a person's mind body connections with their reality. This as Buddha taught is an enlightenment in this very body (Sokushin jobutsu). Therefore, those that create terrible karma must face the effect for every cause they make during their life time. So everyone must face Karmic retribution; however, as Buddha stated when one understands, and practices this life-span chapter, and they are awaken to their life is eternal; and that what we do every moment matters then we can lessen the bad karma; thus, we are awakened that we are the creators of our future this is an enlightenment few possesses. In my book, A Crisis in America, the entire book is about karma and how bad we treat each other; and how by our bad collective karma we will reach critical mass and destroy ourselves as we are. We are thus composing our future with every collective thought, deed, and action. When we realize this that is the ultimate awareness and responsibility for one's life. The good news is Buddha left us instruction how to walk the Karmas; so we can have our environment become beautiful (The Buddha's land) by each person changing their own karma within just by being a good person. Then this reflects into out environment as the sutra reads, paraphrasing...'If the minds of the people are pure, so will the land in which they live be pure, but if the minds of the people are impure so shall the land the live be impure.' One cannot have a beautiful environment if the people are nasty beast within as most of our deep state has become. We are again the creators by our thoughts, deeds, and actions collectively. Buddha teaches that when a person understands, reads, recites and practices this Sutra they can however expiate this karma by the principle of "Tenju Kyoju" lessening the karmic retribution. Watch how science states life and environment are one in this film which supports everything I just stated herein. In Gassho! Rev. Stephen Shonin-Paine
