Setting the record straight, the slanders of SGI Mediocre Monk

My recent responses tin ordero several independent SGI newbie practitioners of Nichiren Lotus Sutra Buddhism  to dispel the slanders directed towards me by Mediocre Monk

Hi! What an interesting life. Leaving the world a better place is the noble way to live. I am a family practitioner and pain management physician because all the other doctors in this rural community are afraid to prescribe opiates. I also practice addiction medicine. Methamphetamines are a scourge of rural America.

As far as White Cheese, I think we have bigger fish to fry, Soka Gakkai, Nichiren Shoshu, etc. I no longer waste much time with White Cheese except to read her analysis of the Soka Gakkai Cult. I skip any slander of the Lotus Sutra and Nichiren. I can relate to a small extent what Nichiren went through, the whole damn Shogunate was against him, crazy killers, all the established sects, and he was betrayed by many of his own disciples. I don't know if you know Jerry "Shinkei" Marcheso? Anyway, the stupid idiot returned to the Nichiren Shoshu. He couldn't overcome having a wife, a 40+ year Nichiren Shoshu member, and a rare illness. Besides he was arrogant, claiming that if one can not study the Gosho in the original Chinese and Japanese, one could never understand the teachings or attain Enlightenment. He is a weak man.

Anyway, I'm glad you are doing well. We can be good cop (shoju) and bad cop (shakubuku). I'm sure you have a lot to say (offer). Talk to you soon.

He is ill with multiple endocrine neoplasia and his wife is a Japanese NST member. There is an old Kempon Hokke directive from the 1400s that states: "If the husband is of another faith and the wife of ours, never expel him from the community. But if the husband is ours and the wife an outsider, wait three years [for her to convert] before expelling them both." Jerry expelled himself from our community.

Sorry to hear about your son in-law. He will pull through. Will chant for him. What is his name?

There are many independents out there, Bodhisattvas of the Earth. For example, Anthony Elmore. I don't agree with everything he says but, as you know, Nichiren teaches, if their faults are minor, overlook them.
