Friday, I introduced a 64 year old lady with COPD, other ailments, and a dastardly abusive husband to Namu Myoho renge kyo. When I saw her, she was crying. Several times, adult protective services had attempted to intervene for her protection. She called me this morning and sounded quite strong and ebullient. She chanted yesterday and this morning. Today she opened a letter and had an additional $100.00 added to her disability check. More importantly, yesterday, her abusive drunken husband found a meth addled girlfriend and it appears that he will, after 18 years of abuse, finally leave her. She is (hopefully was) a Christian. I told her, "wouldn't Jesus want you to be happy?" She agreed and determined to continue to chant Namu Myoho renge kyo.
BTW, last night, may wife chanted for him to leave her alone.
