The Dunning-Kruger Effect

The term lends a scientific name and explanation to a problem that many people immediately recognize—that fools are blind to their own foolishness. As Charles Darwin wrote in his book The Descent of Man, "Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge."

  1. I believe he has much good to say Phillip and that's why I tolerate his indiscretions. Please see my latest post. Please avoid slandering Anonymous as I don't believe he will slander you nor I ever again. I truly believe that he will become a Bodhistattva of the Earth.

    1. You are 100 percent correct, and I should remember Never Disparage bodhisattva. On the other hand slandering Donald Trump has become the national pastime. I would say that believing what is in your head is reality is a delusion that almost everyone suffers from, myself included. I don't think Donald Trump is a racist. I don't mind being called retarded It's funny to me even if it were "proven" to be true. You can't say anything worse to me than what I believe about myself.

  2. I really think all politicians are corrupt and evil, those in the USA, in Russia, China, France, Pakistan, India, Ukraine, Israel, ALL, especially those who endorse the building of more nukes, those who can't figure out where to put nuclear waste or who dump the waste into the sea, whomever possesses nuclear weapons and refuses to discuss treaties to reduce their numbers... You bring tears to my eyes in a joyful way Phillip. thanks for your prescient comments.
