Precisely, the unverifiable proof that Nichiren told us to abandon in favor of the verifiable proof of the words of the Lotus Sutra. The proof of one's words is to be found in how faithful they are to the Lotus Sutra and writings of Nichiren Daishonin. The words of the Sutra are the living body of Shakyamuni Buddha.
