The SGI asserts that only through the SGI teachings can one become Enlightened but the Mystic Law is timeless and unbound.
Nichiren Daishonin’s Lotus Sutra Buddhism is more than 750 years old while the Soka Gakkai is a mere 80 years old. By their specious reasoning, Enlightenment could only be realized within the last 80 years and only among a select group.
