SGI's notion of freedom

SGI supports freedom of religion and, at the same time, they support curtailing free speech. SGI's UN NGO supports the UN resolution banning criticism of Islam. What's next, banning criticizm of the Soka Gakkai? They want it both ways: Freedom to practice a twisted perverse version of the Daishonin's Buddhism and freedom from anyone pointing out their errors.

  1. SGI supports freedom of religion and free speech except when we want to criticise the organisation and talk about Nichiren Buddhism

  2. They don't want to criticise anyone who doesn't criticize them. If Islam started to criticize them, I'm sure that they would be the next on the list to their favourite whipping boy Nichiren Shoshu

  3. They don't have the guts. It's easy to criticize a bunch men in clerical garb whose most pressing issue is the next distortion of the Daishonin's teachings and procuring alms. It's not so easy criticizing a bunch of explosive laden terrorists who have no fear of death.

  4. Maybe they could hire an Army of Mercenaries from the proceeds from of weapons manufacturing by Mitsubishi to defend or attack them

  5. They are probably in the process of doing just that.
