Fusing with the Object of Devotion

One takes on the characteristics of one's Object of Devotion.. Fusing with the Object of Worship of the conman Nichiu, the DaiGohonzon,  one becomes a conman. Fusing with the Object of Devotion of the bizarre priest Nichikan, one becomes a bizarre believer. Fusing with the Object of Devotion of the enlightened Votary of the Lotus Sutra, Nichiren, one becomes an enlightened votary.
