The Lotus Sutra states, "He will be banished again and again."

I am now banished from reddit SGIWHISTLEBLOWERS. This makes at least half a dozen places on the internet and all Nichiren Shoshu temples and SGI "Buddhist" Centers to which I am banished.

"One who has not conceived a desire for the way can never free oneself from the sufferings of birth and death. Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, was cursed by all the followers of non-Buddhist teachings and labeled as a man of great evil. The Great Teacher T’ien-t’ai was regarded with intense enmity by the three schools of the south and seven schools of the north, and Tokuitsu of Japan criticized him for using his three-inch tongue to try to destroy the five-foot body of the Buddha. The Great Teacher Dengyō was disparaged by the priests of Nara, who said, “Saichō has never been to the capital of T’ang China!” But all of these abuses were incurred because of the Lotus Sutra, and they are therefore no shame to the men who suffered them. To be praised by fools—that is the greatest shame. Now that I, Nichiren, have incurred the wrath of the authorities, the priests of the Tendai and True Word schools are no doubt delighted. They are strange and shameless men."

  2. They lack substance therefor they are weak and intolerant while professing themselves to be wise. These dialogue derelicts are their own worst enemies because they cant talk to those with different views other than their own.

We all have differences, the biggest problem is not being able to talk about them.

They would label you as an extremist as they did with Jesus, Joseph Stalin, Mohamed, Mao tse tung , Nichiren, Shakyamuni etc who had strong views .

Unless you are a moderate you are not cool and are blamed for everything that is wrong with the world. Moderates need to be more open to extremists so they can understand the differences and similarity's. I believe that we are the oneness of delusion and enlightenment so moderates are the same as extremists being the oneness of good and evil.

At the end of the day we all have to control our evil nature whatever path/s we are on

  3. I have woken up to the realisation that Nichiren did not have any teachings of his own but encouraged others to believe in the Lotus Sutra. He also demonstrated the Lotus Sutra by living and breathing the teachings of the original Buddha .Since then I have been shunned by my so called friends I had in the SGI and even those who have stopped chanting and have left. It is very interesting. However as you had pointed out before the Lotus Sutra says those who really follow the teachings would be scarce and rare as dirt under a finger nail.I have noticed that if there is something the Buddha has proclaimed in the Lotus Sutra and I have problems believing it, this is usually the fundamental point of my suffering. At the present time I am finding it very hard to believe there will be millions eventually up holding the true teachings in the Lotus sutra and would eventually chant .This is written clearly in chapter 15 "Bodhisattvas emerging from the earth".

  4. Every religion starts with a few believers and the Lotus Sutra is not teaching just any religion. No other religion talks of the eternity of this very flesh and blood person's life and don't forget, Nichiren talks of "ten thousand years and more, for all eternity". Certainly there will be a World War III or IV. Many Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, and Buddhists will suffer un-imaginable privations, travails, and distresses. Millions will perish, many more than the sixty millions who perished in the first two world wars. Many tens of millions or hundreds of millions or billions will chant Namu Myoho renge kyo. A bitter but unavoidable destiny that will later turn to delight. for this reason, we must keep the teachings pure.

  6. Buddhism's apocalypse will lead to the establishment of the Buddha's Land for all eternity and right here on earth:

“The Lotus Sutra is the teaching of shakubuku, the refutation of the provisional doctrines.” True to the letter of this golden saying, in the end, every last one of the believers of the provisional teachings and schools will be defeated and join the retinue of the Dharma King. The time will come when all people will abandon the various kinds of vehicles and take up the single vehicle of Buddhahood, and the Mystic Law alone will flourish throughout the land. When the people all chant Namu-myoho-renge-kyo, the wind will no longer buffet the branches, and the rain will no longer break the clods of soil. The world will become as it was in the ages of Fu Hsi and Shen Nung. In their present existence the people will be freed from misfortune and disasters and learn the art of living long. Realize that the time will come when the truth will be revealed that both the person and the Law are unaging and eternal. There cannot be the slightest doubt about the sutra’s promise of “peace and security in their present existence.”

    1. The Buddha land exists in the midst of an apocalypse. This gives eternal hope throughout the eternal apocalypses from the eternal past and into the future. Its really just the like the setting of the sun that is followed by a new Dawn...rest assured NMRK for all eternity is right now and can be accessed throughout the never ending cycles of birth and death as in this one

  7. This sounds all too much like a Jehovah's witness testimony. They say this planet earth will last forever and so will their bodies
