Nichiren's advice? Go to the source, the Lotus Sutra and his writings. In authentic Nichiren's Lotus Sutra Buddhism, the views of Shakyamuni Buddha of the Juryo-hon Chapter, Nichiren Daishonin, and their disciples and believers are official.
Whose SGI view is official other than Ikeda's who flips flops more than the Circo-Soleil gymnasts? Since not one SGI view from whoever may be considered official, then SGI Buddhism turns to anarchy. Since they even alter Nichiren's view, in the Soka Gakkai, there is no Buddhahood, no oasis and no dry land.
