Words have absolute meaning in themselves

Not only is context important but words have absolute meanings in themselves. Fourteens does not mean the same thing as four teens. "Fourteens came out", is not the same as " four teens came out". "The moon shines nice" is not the same as" the moonshine's nice". Words are very important in order to convey meanings. Small changes in a word's or phrase's structure or sound changes the entire meaning of the word or phrase. These examples may not be the best but given time, I'm sure, one could come up with better examples, examples where subtle changes in sound are crucial to convey a meaning even in a life and death circumstance. You may think you are reciting devotion to Myoho renge kyo by chanting Nam Myoho renge kyo but you are not. Nam does not mean devotion. It never has, it never will. You have changed the phrase. You have turned a jewel into a rock. Namu Myoho renge kyo Namu Myoho renge Kyo Namu Myoho renge kyo
