"The Chinese priest Fa-yün of Kuang-che-ssu temple could make it rain suddenly or cause flowers to bloom immediately, but Miao-lo writes of him, “Though he could bring about a response in this way, his understanding still did not accord with the truth [of the Lotus Sutra].” When the Great Teacher T’ien-t’ai read the Lotus Sutra, soft rain began to fall in an instant, and the Great Teacher Dengyo caused sweet rain to fall within the space of three days. However, they did not say that because of such powers their understanding of the truth coincided with that of the Buddha." - On Repaying Debts of Gratitude

DeleteNot Bull Shit Ikedaism, FOR SURE!
DeleteQuestion is : how important are the teachings on daimoku and The fact that “ knowledge of Buddhism “ is not a requirement for benefiting from the excellent medicine “ that simply does not discriminate according to your prejudices; how important is the true teaching on the primacy of the daimoku to you? It is concern for your declining health that I continue to point out how you are slandering the daimoku you chant , via your behavior . Treading water is not actual proof of correct faith/practice. Don’t you want to advance and grow -/ ?? Or just stay laser focused on yourself ? ~Katie
Deletepoor old mark, always imagining he is the focal point, when all he is here is the cart with the broken wheel that warns others what can happen when they make a career out of demeaning people who chant the daimoku.
