Question: How can you say that you have maintained the true intentions of Nichiren if you do not actively propogate?The "same mind as Nichiren" is to exert oneself for Kosen Rufu. 

Answer: The Nichiren Shu has almost as many members as the SGI. They propagate widely but is their faith  and practices correct? The same with the Rissei Kossekai which has several million members and the Honmon Butsuryu Shu which has more than one million members. What these groups propagate, is more or less far removed from the Daishonin's Buddhism, so their propagation efforts, are meaningless and in vain. Our faith is very very close to what the Daishonin taught and  therefore,the internal and external obstacles to its propagation are massive. The Fujufuse sect for example, is outlawed to this day and remains only as an underground movement and all faithful Nichiren devotees, to a lesser extent, have been supressed by the government and the other sects. The laziness and the complacency of the modern priests of the Kempon Hokke has also proved to be a formidable obstacle to its widespread propagation. The sleeping giant of the world of Nichiren's Buddhism has recently awakened. It will not be long before there are many believers practicing exactly as the Daishonin taught.
